Pats optimistic to get deal done w/ Rishard Matthews

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better. Let all of young players go and bring injured guys all coming off their career worst season. Awesome!

I had him high on my list too. Depending on what he gets it could be disappointing. Tough situation this year for him and us to be in. I really don't believe he wanted to be here anymore.
 
Matthews is a sharp guy.

I remember watching his interviews his rookie year.

He will not have a problem picking up a new system.

He is no Ocho Cinco
 
I hate to see him go more that Miller or OV . We needed to keep Miller more of coarse. But I think we are Ok at RB we have nice depth there and can still pick up nice quality in the draft. The thing with Rishard was consistency, he is on the verge more than MIller and OV at being a game changer at " his position" whoever lands him should be happy if they don't overpay. They definitely need to utilize him more than we did.
 
This would be a great move for the Pats...and he's just entering his prime, this is gonna suck for a while if he goes to NE

That's just great. We lost Miller, Vernon, Shelby, grimes (not that I care that grimes is gone) and replaced them with crappy maxwell and crappy kiko and some dude named quiddis. Great start.

Im happy for him to play w Brady. He is also looking to get paid and do more, just started a family and got inspired.
 
Hey were top heavy with receivers...get over it...but don't wish him good with Brady...Tom Brady is a cheat and he's gonna pay
