Buddy of mine just heard over the radio, that there are rumors out there that the Pats are going to package 2 of their 2nd round draft picks to move forward and push for a deal for Peppers.

They could do it, but i doubt it. No way will he take a discount, so he'll be looking for 45M -50M guaranteed after the Haynseworth deal.

Taylor is the guy they'll target. he'll come a lot cheaper. If Vrabel could get 12 1/2 sacks in the pats scheme, if taylor has anything else, he can be our peppers.

To be completely honest, I'd be surprised if Taylor lands in NE. Just like Zach Thomas, he has bad blood with the other AFC East clubs, especially NE. Zach publicly stated he wasn't going to NE, or any other AFC EAST club, when he was cut. I expect Taylor to be thinking the same thing...

Not happening the big fish is vince wilfork and they are talking deal.He is the no 1 priority for a team,their are no 27yr old probowl NT in the market.Once done i do not think peppers money will be left.
I thin one of the 2nd rd pick 34 ,47 and 58 will be traded for a first round pick next year.Also having the most picks in the top 100 i see more CB,LB picks the defence is getting younger.
