Losing pieces to the puzzle contribute to this.
I know BB is a great coach, but I find it hard to lose 2 big time LB's, 1 big time Safety, your starting LT, and now a RB/returner and not have it impact you in the Win/Loss column.
So regardless if you think Faulk is great, he a piece and frankly D's have to account for him. Its all part of Miami taking care of its business and having others help knock off the champs.
Miami needs to take advantage of these key injuries, all three teams are down and Miami needs to keep on bounding them. let's just hope they don't get over confident and lose focus.
I was saying this would happen last year but I was wrong. I took another year for the Pats to get hurt. They have played a lot of long seasons the past few years. Those extra games and shorter offseasons add up and can wear teams down. Expect more core guys to go down too.
