Pats sign Marcus Thigpen

They'll get the base stuff that Lazor showed in pre-season but not the new stuff and the wrinkles. This is an advantage for us, especially if these other additions are run off the previous formations. I would argue that their value is limited and we would be in a better position if we were to gank their cuts with info on their more established schemes.

I don't really care about Thiggy's abilities as a player coming back to hurt us. A good DC will prepared for this knowing his strengths, weaknesses and tendencies.

I'm confused as to how Marcus Thigpen is eligible for their practice squad

RB Marcus Thigpen has played in 16 games each of the past two seasons, so he'd take up the #Patriots other "exemption" spot on the PS

Kind of like Grimes for the D and Clabo for the O last year when we faced the Falcons. Although I'm sure our priest of a coach Joe Philbin did't consult with them right? LOL

Comparing a team that we play once every four years, to a team we face 8 times every 4 years...and is a direct obstacle to the playoffs...:bobdole:

Roger Goodell approves!

Belicheat will be Belicheat, that's ok put Brady on his arse enough and BBs brilliant schemes will be worthless.

What does time duration have to do with anything? Nice deflection though.

Did we not play the Falcons in the very same season we signed Grimes/Clabo? Do you believe the Dolphins coaching staff did not consult with them?

the best way to handle this is go out there and whip their asses on sunday.

You are comparing a division rival to a team in a completely different conference? Are you seriously too blind to see that? I thought my first post was self explanatory...there is no way to dumb it down any further. There is a massive difference between the two when you are directly competing with one to get into the post season. The Falcons have no correlation anymore. One game every 4 years out of the scheduled two a year with New England...I'm sure a guy like Thigpen is much more valuable to a divisi on rival than Grimes, whose former team is in an entirely different conference.

Tyson Clabo (signed May 5th) and Brent Grimes (signed March 30th) didn't spend OTAs or the preseason with Atlanta before we signed them. Nonsense.

You're directly competing with ANYONE you play during the season.

I see you keep avoiding the question though. Do you think the Dolphins consulted with Clabo/Grimes before they squared off with the Falcons?

Oh stop already...we signed those players to play for us not to gain info specifically then release them. It's not even close to the same thing Idk why think it is. But you also think Matt Moore is better than Tannehill so...

Game, set, match!

I swear, some people just love arguing for the sake of arguing around here.

Same coaching staff existed prior on the Falcons.

Looks Coach Bellichick is nerved up a bit. If he was not, he would not need these two.
