Speak for yourself. I never thought it would be easy. The addition of Culpepper is nice, and he has looked solid in the preseason, but the Patriots are still the Patriots. They are the team to beat, and when you are the team to beat, that means you have done something great in the past to get the reputation.

We do have a chance to take the division, but the Patriots will be just as hungry as we are. Their hunger for another championship is ludacris. You'd think they would be satisfied by now winning 3 of the last 5 Super Bowls, but they aren't.

The Patriots will never be a "cake walk"; as long as Tom Brady is healthy and Mr. Bill is coaching, they will be tough competition for years to come. I kind of prefer to have it like this, I love to see a great battle. Tom Brady vs Daunte Culpepper will create historic games.

I think the difference between the Pats and other teams with comparable talent is their discipline. You hardly see players out of position or missing assignments, taking stupid penalities, muffing punts, giving up kick returns, etc... Everything is very calculated and crisp.

No jackass what I'm saying is there has been alot of talk on here how the PATS are finished, lost key players etc..Well maybe they have but there not going to roll over and play dead!!! :goof:

See it's stupid comments like these that show me who the homers are........... Why would you shake your head at the fact that the Patriots are going to be competitive with us? That's just stupidity. all the guy was pointing out is the fact that they looked good tonight, that we shouldn't write them off.

Well the Redskins were a top team last season but they sure didn't look like one tonight.

Why do you think we got rid of him? Junior is on decline. That says more about Belicheck's judgement than it does about our own, taking our leftovers.

Actually all kidding aside Junior had a decent game considering he's been with the team 1 week. Now if we can keep him healthy he'll help us out till Tedy gets back and perhaps even after that.

Jeez, all he said was the Patriots looked good tonight and they have for two straight weeks. Its preseason definitley, The Pats and the Dolphins are undefeated, even we'll see who wins in the regular season. But tonight I think it was good to get a whiff of the healthy Patriots. When I say that I mean Seymour and Rodney Harrison back in the lineup. 8 sacks and Redskins with 30-40 some passing yards vs maybe 300+ by the Patriots. And again, Pats players are versatile, and I saw it on Dillon's catch and run for 40 yards. I have said it before and will say it again, it would be awesome to have Deion Branch playing but if he does not it will not be the end of the world when you still have Brady. Great job by the O-Line I forgot to mention. The best part tonight was 8 red zone trips. 5 TD's, 3 field goals. All we could have asked for. Its a combo here. The 'Skins blow and the Patriots looked very sharp.
