Since its the first game of the season, thought Id start this thread early and maybe merge it with the GDT when/if Adamfirst creates it. Im so nervous for this game, on one hand I like the fact were starting the season against our most hated rivals, but on the other hand, they happen to be a power house and could crush our hopes really fast.

This game is more about our defense coming up big in the 2nd half. Offense just needs to be solid. Don't turnover the ball and run the ball somewhat efficiently. Consistent pressure on Brady will put the icing on the cake.

Yup! And Brady struggles with interior pressure, which is where they have been shuffling the OL since they traded Mankins... That's good for us...

Make no mistake, this game is about everything the Dolphins can do. All phases will be responsible for producing. The defense has to show up and Tannehill has to try and match Brady. Special teams needs to have a responsible showing and not give up any big plays. The last thing we need is to give up a special teams score or set Brady up with short fields. Its going to take a complete effort.

I am way past any excuses for this team. I am ready to go completely negative and blow the entire thing up if they can't stop being a joke. Show me something Dolphins.

josh kline sucks. you will see. but hey, if you only need to block for 1 second I guess anyone could play for the cheaters.

I think our D will hold up well, and maybe even get a couple of turnovers. No idea what to expect from our O. Will Lazor run 25 times or pass 50? The special teams are a concern with Landry and so many other young guys. One mistake may well turn the game.

Pressure Brady. Run the ball enough to keep them honest and no stupid penalties or turnovers. Keep it close and win it in the fourth quarter. All easier said than done but i like our chances.

The response to Lazor's play calling is going to be very interesting. If he makes what is deemed to be bad calls by some, is he ripped like our other OC's or, given some time?

tough to say not sure what the combination is going to be. Only thing I know for sure is Solder will be at left tackle. Not worried about the individual players most can play anywhere on the line

Kline did not play well in preseason on the run or pass, giving up 2 sacks, 2 hits and a hurry.
