Pats will play only 7 away games next year

I'm confused. Are you saying that this game doesn't count as an away game?

They're playing in England. That's pretty "away" by my standards.

I think the point he's trying to make is that only 7 of the games played away from Gillette stadium will be in the home stadium of the opposing team.

The Bucs will play only 7 home games.....9 technical away games.

Patriots still 8 home 8 away

and whats with that game selection, who overseas wants to see the Bucs?

Ok and by that logic the Dolphins will play only 7 away games this year.

I think he meant the pats don't have to play eight games in a hostile enviroment.

The Dolphins don't have to play 8 games in a hostile environment. Though i'm betting some people think it's the NFL plotting to allow the Patriots win again.

Yeah? Well if there weren't evidence of blatant favoritism then there wouldn't be just cause for conspiracy theories right?

Let's see, 2007 in London the AFC team(MIA) is the home team, meaning we lose a real home game. In 2008 the NFC team(NO) is the home team. Next year the Bucs an NFC team loses a home game... Are we missing something here?

I think you're reaching. The NFL probably will give the Patriots the Bills game in Toronto next year so then rather than 7 road games it'll only by 6.

I'm against any home games overseas and think it's a slap in the face to fans of that team. Especially season ticket holders. Now if the arguement is the NFL is spitting in the face of those fans I agree. Going overseas I think screws over both teams. It's definately not a home game for either squad. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the Pats players would rather play the game in TB then in England.
