"Paul Soliai got a chance to step up to the starting line and had a strong practice. Soliai held his ground against Jake Grove and Joe Berger, who worked as the starting right guard. And he even got to Chad Pennington on a sack."

Sounds like he might just turn out to be the NT we need. If he can keep this up our D-line should be among the best. I hope he can keep his act clean.

The problem with him has been he just doesn't seem motivated. He has the skills but he needs to commit to it, keep himself in shape and work at the position. Like I said, he needs to stay motivated.

Im not impressed....I will only buy into him as our NT that we need til he is starting in the regular season.....

quite a bit of talent and potential there, at a crucial position, for a fourth round pick. i'm really pulling for this guy. every time he has flashed in a game (which hasn't been all that often) it stands out to me like a neon light.

Wow, the guy did what he is supposed to do for just 1 day. I'm not impressed.

Oh Jesus.

If this guy can pan out it would be huge for this team. The most important position on a 3-4 front is NT. If you have a very good NT, it makes everyone else on the front-7 so much better.

Look at Ray Lewis right before Haloti Ngata was drafted there. Ravens fans were saying Lewis was done. When Ngata started dominating, Ray Lewis and the Ravens defense found new life......

You're right, but Ngata isn't the NT in Baltimore. Kelly Gregg is. Ngata just played there last season when Gregg went down.

True he still has alot to prove. But I see alot of changes in him he came to camp lighter, faster, and stronger. And now that he has been given a chance he has started to make the most of it. Jason Ferguson has been great for this kid, if he can keep this up we really are set at D-line for many years. PS has as much physical talent as any NT in the game he just needs the heart and brains. I think JF has started him on the right path here's hoping he can stay on it.:woot:

It would be good if the guy does pan out but i don't think he'll ever be more then what he is right now.

He's the very much like Jason Allen. The lights are on but no one is home. You have to have a very high football IQ to play DT in a 3-4, and i don't see that from this guy.

He'd be better off in a 4-3 where all they ask of the DT is to go get the QB, like the Colts or Tampa.
