even though we are going to have a boat load of cash next year do you think there are players that need to take a pay cut? howard-3mill, james-3.4mill, booker-2.9mill. I think these guys will have to take cuts or get cut anyone else?
 
Olindo Mare needs to take a huge paycut, I think he is the highest paid kicker in the NFL.

Booker and James have been productive...Howard is a different story. We could also see Madison get walking papers if he doesn't adjust his contract.
 
I agree Saban will approach some players to take pay cuts. He is not go to over pay at any position. I would guess Howard is cut, if not he will be forced to accept a greatly reduced contract. I think a couple of others will also be asked to reduce their salaries (Olindo Mare, Sam Madison, perhaps Zach Thomas).
 
I think Saban will ask Chambers to take a pay cut.
 
I have a feeling saban will trade for whavter he can get for madison or cut him. what 9 mill for teh way he is performing? get out of here. and all he can do is cover ONCE ina while as he has constand PI this year or atlest seems lke it. James needs a cut, howard needs to be cut and booker i like. I think that hsould help us out even more. If saban was able to get rid of a surtain our best Cb then i think he will with madison.
 
I think it depends on how the rest of the season goes. It seems hard for me to justify paying our number 2 receiver 3 mill though.

J James has been the most consistent player on the O line, and Booker has been the only reliable receiver. Unless Saban can replace these guys with players that are clearly better and cheaper they should be alright at least for one more year. Howard suckered Wanny and Speil into a ridicules contract, but I don't see him making the roster next year muchless being asked to take a pay cut. IMO Madison will be the sacrificial lamb. He is not the player he used to be. Poole and Mitchelle will be returning next year and Daniels, Shulters, Bell, and Jones are nice additions to the secondary. With these six guys, a shot at the draft and free agency next year either Madison's days are numbered or he's taking a pay cut.

The Dolphins are somewhere between 15 and 25 mill under the cap. If this is the case then I don't think anybody would be asked to take a cut. If anybody is asked to take a pay cut, I think it would be JT and ZT. Sad but true, these guys aren't getting any younger and they both want to win a SB. I really hope that JT and ZT don't end up being two more great Dolphins that didn't get to win a SB. These guys want to win a SB so bad that I think that if they believe that a SB could come out of a pay cut they would do it.
