Payton is coming to Miami

I am a bit sceptical due to the fact that it's Morlon Greenwood. Not Marlon. If he was, in fact, a good friend, one would think you would know that...

LOL, I was about to type the same thing. And what's up with everyone misspelling Peyton? Can people really not read?

I see what you are saying, but not a lot of people remember that he played in the AFC East before, he knows what its like to play in those cities, it could play in his decision.

What is your opinion on what the Jets need to do this off-season? What are the areas on your team that have you very concerned going into next season?

Its been well known that Eli picked Giants over SD because he did not want to be in the same conference with Peyton.
I do not known Manning family personally, but I do follow NFL closer than you, base on the fact that you did not know about why Eli wanted to go to NFC.

You can listen to Marshall Faulk on WQAM interview archive.

So you know me now? You follow the NFl closer than me, i guess you are the #1 fan. We are talking about Peyton, not Eli. And im talking about your team connected "Source" not Marshall Faulk. Your basing your knowledge off a TV personality. This is fun.

is there a way to block a jet fan?

The Jets need to give Sanchez one more season, if he fails, cut bait and accept that they made a very very bad decision. With a bad season next year Rex is gone too! We have to shore up the o-line, get a reliable safety and address the lack of pass rush, Maybin was a flash in the pan and cant be our fastest LB

Thanks for your great insight to the thread

Been bugging me how so many must think we are going after the Saints coach or something too. It's PEYTON. We may PAY him a TON yeah, but it ain't how his name is spelled.

I believe the ESPN Mort report, we might have done more bad then good with all that media attention when he was at least in his mind just getting over the departure from a team he clearly DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE BUT FELT HE HAD TO.

Mort broke the report Colts and Manning were ending he will break the report who Manning signs with. I am not going to buy into Adam Shefter or anyone else to Mort reports.

Hey fact guy, Eli didnt want to play for the Chargers, if another team had drafted him to the AFC he would have played there. And last time i checked, the Giants traded for Eli, he didnt trade for them. This is really fun

Not that I would argue with Rex leaving but, besides his mouth, I believe he has done well with the defense and what he had to work with.

I was never convinced with Sanchez and was sick and tired of hearing those that used his playoff record as some indication that he is good.

What's your thought on having Sprano as your oc? I understand that your previous OC wasn't pretty good, if I was a Jets fan, I'd be pretty worried having the offense in the hands of someone like Tony.

Yea, I am with you, Maybin was a FA for a reason. I wouldn't trust that he will do anything special next season.

Besides Holmes and Kerley(who I liked from what I saw in limited action) what other receivers do you have and are they worth a darn?

Sparano is a relative unknown to me, i know that he did well in Dallas, i do know that he is old school and wants to get back to a ground and pound status for us, but i dont think its going to work. Greene is appearing to be an injury issue, McKnight has fumbling issues. Keller can be a dangerous weapon if used correctly, but im hearing he might get traded. Im just going to go into the season and support the team, im not expecting much. Rex has done wonders for the defense, he just needs to keep his mouth shut

Good point. I was thinking the same thing.
