after what happened today in indy, you have to wonder if payton will have the same legacy as marino, hes the best qb in the nfl the last few years, and probably will have numbers comparable to marino by the end of his career. his team is getting older, and soon enough the salary cap is going to hit them in the face.

There is already a thread about this shag. I read it about 3 hours ago

But Peyton has something Marino never had. A RB. So there should be no excuse. Marino never had a running game

haha, I love when stuck-up finheaven-addict posters get owned...

You would think after that commercial

'Hey can you sign my melon? Its peyton P-E-Y'

People could spell his name correctly

I contributed the fact that the best QB in the nfl got his name mispelled

what did you contribute with this post? or even with your other post?

Peyton...."D Fense...D Fense...great salad bar today guys!!!" :D

Peyton should do a commercial with Eli and his dad Archie about being good at losing.

Maybe, I think he'll break most of Marino's records, but unless he wins one he's gonna be categorized with Marino. Before Vanderjagt missed the kick I just remember Peyton at the pro-bowl talking about his "idiot kicker." If he is the next Marino, I think this game would be like Marino's game vs San Diego when he drove them down with like a minute left and Stoyanovich missed a fg, although I think SF would've beaten the phins pretty good in the SB that year.

Had we beaten SD we would have played in Cincinatti the following week where it was about 30 degrees below zero.....Ken Anderson and the Bengals won that one and then lost to San Fran in a great game. I still almost cry when I think about Stoyanovich's shank.

That was '81 (WoodStrock). He was referring to 1994.

how did you expect him to react? all you did was make fun of him for not spelling Peyton's name correctly. None of us who post here spell everything correctly every single time. If it bothered you that much you could always PM the correct spelling to someone next time.

1- He wasn't the one misspelling the name

2- I wasn't picking on him or making fun at anyone at all, just stating how funny it is people misspell his name when there is a commercial with the spelling in it

I misspell things to, no-one is perfect, and I wasn't singling anyone out, sry if it came across that way

so you are saying that what you said was okay because the person you said it about didn't comment on it? Just because the thread starter hasn't commented, doesn't make you actions any more acceptable.
