PBP Live Blog — August 4 Training Camp, Evening Session

Got one update in but it just sets the stage and tells us who is out there and who is not. Looks like Peelle is back out there. McKinney too, first time he's practiced twice in the same day I think. Lehan not out there. I think the press are misguided in keeping a "Quincy Carter watch" although they probably should keep watching for Terry Glenn to show up.

I'm surprised anyone really thinks QC would end up here.

I agree.

Interesting to note that Henne was with the 1st team offense during the 2 minute drills.

Beck with the 2nd team

McCown with the 3rd

Beck threw a nice improvised TD that was dropped by Parmele. McCown got a TD on a QB sneak.

DOH

Beck threw a TD and it was dropped.

McCown ran it in.

Sounds like the offense is getting better.

wow look at the wording this blogger is using in regards to excuses for henne vs beck in that last series. Incomplete pass because henne had a hand in his face, and this person touched his arm and blah blah but for beck, oh no he throws a bad pass, and he gets nailed but bess catches it anyway. And thats 3 td's today for beck that should have been caught, but every one of them were dropped. Looks like hes picking up his game a bit. Things should get interesting this week.

I am a huge Beck supporter, but to have 3 wide open dropped TD passes. It almost seems like Beck is doing something with the ball to make it hard to catch.

BUT

This is the NFL. If the ball hits you in the hand you catch it.

Offense sounds a bit crisper. Not saying they are world beaters, but at least today sounded like it was a bit more in their favor.

Sounds like Camarillo has secured his roster spot. Call me crazy, but it seems he has made plays every single day, and furthermore, Coach Sparano seems to have taken a liking to the guy. Mentions him a lot in his press conferences. Plus, the guys a great ST player. I'm thrilled, I really like Greg and think he could be our new version of a #83 that makes clutch catches, nobody really knows about, but who makes plays.

Henne's first pass is incomplete because Jason Ferguson ate Samson Satele and Donald Thomas for lunch and got in Henne's face.

Great now we are short 2 o-lineman,lol.

Camarillo and Hagan might be the most consistent WR's on the team. Aren't they listed as 2nd teamers?
