Here is part of it

Terence Wright said he came to Miami on Aug.'13 and spoke with Saban, who led Wright to believe that his son would become an integral part of the defense.
"Then the next day he brings in Big Daddy Dan Wilkinson," Terence Wright said. "If I would have told people eight months ago that (Saban) lied to my face, everyone would have laughed. Now, see how it turns out?"

i dont think manny will be around no matter who the new coach is

We might get Manny Wright back? I mean I know he's troubled, but technically a new coach would be that fresh start he wanted. I thought he looked like the future at NT in the few flashes he showed in 05.

Is there crying in football?

I don't want a DT that sobs on a practice field in a position where I
depend on him.

"We don't have any of this stuff, 'When it doesn't work here, let me go someplace else,''" Saban said of Wright in August. "That's not how it is. This is the real world. It's business. You have a job and a responsibility."

I wonder if this is what Huizenga said to Saban, when Saban reportedly told Huizenga "I'll stay if you really, really want me to..."? :rolleyes2

The more time that passes, and the more stories that surface about what went on behind the scenes, the more I'm glad that he left. I can't wait to see what another coach can do with this team.

Um, wait a second.......did any of you catch that? 6-6 300lbs?

Let me say that again. 300Lbs?!!!

Did dude slim down or what? I am thinking that is a misprint. GEt the boy in here!!

And Yes, get rid of Traylor (still love the guy) and the other older wood and start playing the young ones!

Love that it mentioned Saban's quote about Manny Wright back when Wright demanded a trade,

"We don't have any of this stuff, 'When it doesn't work here, let me go someplace else,''" Saban said of Wright in August. "That's not how it is. This is the real world. It's business. You have a job and a responsibility."
Wish someone had brought that one up at the Alabama press conference.

Ya know, IF things worked out ideally (a big IF, I know) we could be in a GREAT situation on the d-line... just think, if Manny Wright, Rodrique Wright, Fred Evans, Kevin Vickerson, Matt Roth and Chase Page all turned out to be any good at all, we'd have a stud D-line, made up of very young (and largely relatively inexpensive) players. We can keep JT and D-Bo around for veteran leadership, and wil be able to afford to lose Traylor, Wilkinson, Zgonina, Carter and Holliday.

Again, it's a big if, and I'm not predicting anything... just trying to be optimistic about a "best case" scenario. :)

I think the dad just sees this as an opportunity to possibly get his son back on the field, with out him looking like a complete idiot. If Manny wanted it halfas bad as his dad does, we'll hear from him soon.
