Maybe we should sticky this as long as the poll is up to get as many Finheaven opinions as we can up publically?

I think Rex Ryan should be on that list I think he will be a great choice.

Oh that reminds me, I have a quick question fellas.

With Cameron comming in town for an interview this weekend, are we allowed to hire him before the Chargers season is over, or must we wait until they are done? I can't wait for a coach to be official here and I really hope it's C.C.

Im surprise Whisenhunt isn't leading, and Cameron has LT and Rivers that offense is great cause of its players.....McMichael is not Gates,Brown is good but no where near LT, and we dont have a QB.....

I wondering that myself, my guess is yes you can, but I'm not really sure.

I think you have to wait until their season is over.

Pretty sure we're not even allowed to make him an offer until the season is over.

You can hire him, but he won't join until the season is over.

I'd prefer they didn't hire him.

That was the impression that I was under was that he can take the job but ovbiously won't be in Miami until San Diego is done.

EDIT: I don't really understand your hate for Cameron. The only thing in your sig that you can argue is his record at Indian which doesn't really even make sense because of how terrible that school's program is. The other 3 things are just your opionion that you really can't make a prediction on.

Wouldn't that be tampering, or does that only apply to players?

Tampering would be if we were to talk to him without SD's permission.

If I was a team in the playoffs, I would let my guys interview, but ask them to hold off on officially taking a new job until the season was over.

Cleveland had to wait for Crennell, and I think that they didn't get to interview him until after NE was done for the year. And I faintly remember an assistant coach (it may not have been a coordinator) being allowed to leave the team to take his new job (though it may have been a college position) while his team was still in contention. I don't remember who though.

I am sure that you have to wait until the season is over because I remember a few years ago when Romeo Crennel was hired by Cleveland, the Browns had to wait until after the Super Bowl to hire him.

I think that Weis agreed to become the Notre Dame coach during the patriots super bowl run.
