little self-indulged experiment, my apologies ahead of time... anyhoo, i'll try to give 3-4 picks (20 total units) a week and stay above 52.5%... and yes i'll submit them before kickoff, and document results... pass or fail...

0-3 last week! This is hard to do, and easily my worst NFL season. ... I'm thinking it may be time for the George Costanza approach, and pick the opposite of what I like. But another theory could be that I'm due to break out. Season total: 11-17; -29 units.

1. Tennessee (+3) at Cleveland: It's true that the Titans have to go with two rookies at their decimated wideout position, but how they're a 3-point dog to this Cleveland bunch is baffling. Look for a steady dose of Chris Brown, and a decent defensive effort. (7u)

2. Baltimore (+3) vs. Cincy: Ravens lose here at home, their season is essentially over. They put forth a valiant effort at Pittsburgh last week, despite no Lewis or Reed. Cincy's 4.7 rpc defense can be exploited. (5u)

3. Philadelphia (+3) at Washington: Gonna take a flyer on Philadelphia here, as I believe the T.O. suspension will galvanize a team happy to be rid of his antics and determined to justify the organization's move. Washington's defense is not what it was last year, and this number climbed to a full field goal. Bounce factor works in Washington's favor, but so what. (5u).

4. Seattle (-4) at Arizona: I simply have no faith in Zona's run defense, nor its running game. (3u).
