Peerless Price to visit us tomorrow

Lets see cant even make it in atlanta where there #1 right now isnt even better than our #4 in derrius thompson...eh sorry go back to buffalo peerless

Dude, I would take off your homer goggles. Michael Jenkins is a far better receiver than Derrius Thompson and he's still a young guy. I think he's just as good as Marty Booker. If he isn't now, he will be in a year or two.

Don't think we'll sign him....like soneone said "fat" chance we get him...very fat

I wouldn;'t be surprised if he signs with Dallas to re-unite with Bledsoe or Philly to help McNabb....

Jenkins is more talented than Derrius Thompson. It remains to be seen if he's better than Derrius (though I don't think that will take long to prove) & he's not at Booker's level.

I don't see how signing Price can hurt the team. If Saban wants him, Lineham wants him and we can afford it why not? Why the doom and gloom over signing a Wr? There is no question that our Wr's and offense in general has underachieved. Adding talent to the offense can only help. Booker and Chambers are set, but Boston is coming off a major injury, the rest are unproven or inconsistant. Price is a solid #2 or 3 theres no doubt about that, he just wasn't a #1 in Atlanta.

some of you guys are nuts. you guys make it seem he's had like 5 straight terrible seasons. the truth is, he has had 2 subpar seasons with a team whos QB threw for like 2300yds and 15 TD's last season...how much can you ask from the guy? he will be a very solid #2 for a team, just not here. but just cuz he wont be HERE doesnt mean you guys should knock him, it just makes you guys look dumb and brainless

,,Peerless is not a good fit for Miami he wont except a #4 role anyway and he's not good enough to get any higher!!! Sounds like a waste of time for us.

i dont think he was the prob in atl i think it had more to do with vick

Ya I would agree with that. Although I think he is better then what he showed in ATL, I still would not want to see him in Miami, simply because there are better things to put the money towards, and WR is not a place of need.

When good guys become available you owe it to yourself to check them out. I'm sure that is what Saban and Mueller are doing. They are very smart football guys and you all should remember from his Jills days that Price is a speedster that can be an impact guy. Vick is no passing QB. Price could come in and allow us to move a current WR. What value would Booker have in a trade now? We need some speed at WR. Chambers and Booker I like alot but neither are going to fly by a DB with just speed. Boston if healthy is a legit speed guy with Gilmore a possiblility but you can never have enough speed. My guess would be if Price was brought in it would be to replace Booker and he would go as a trade. Too much specualtion but it's worth a visit. Linehan likes the vertical and we need speed.

Why do we need a WR at all? We have all we need and more. Let's see, we have : Chris Chambers, pyhsical freak, best deep threat we have. Booker, great route runner and good possesion reciever. Then we have Boston, who is another pyhsical freak, speedy, big. Then Welker, has more heart than 75% players in the league, and a speedster, big return threat. Then we have Gilmore, good speedy number 5. And probably Maurice Mann, been tearing it up in PS.

Now why, with all that, do we need a WR?
