Peerless left Buffalo because he wanted to be the #1 receiver. (He would have been an UFA if not franchised.) He benefitted from Eric Moulds getting double coverage, Drew Bledsoe airing it out, and a pass-first offense in his career season in 2002. Somehow, I don't think Miami would be his kind of team, but hey, if you're out of work -- :confused2
He's also a lousy blocker, which he was asked to do in the Mora regime, and which apparently made both Peerless and Mora unhappy.
Since they only play football with 1 ball at a time, Peerless and TO couldn't exist on the same team for very long. :D
He might hook up with his old QB Bledsoe in Dallas, but I just don't think he's The Tuna's kind of player. Parcells expects you to sacrifice for the team, and Peerless sometimes had a problem doing that in Buffalo. :)
