Just curious what everyone else thinks of all the penalties and lack of discipline that’s displayed by the team this season. I think we are one of the most penalized teams in the NFL. I’m not sure what the coaches can do to clean all of the penalties up. But it’s a clear sign of an undisciplined team. Just seems like we didn’t have this problem under Flores, who we can all admit was a major douche bag. It’s just so frustrating to watch the dolphins be their own worst enemy every week.

Not sure...It seems as if they are nit picking against Miami. Questionable calls get flagged, while questionable calls on the other side are not. Very strange...

The coaches HAVE to fix it...it's their job.

As for the offense, it's new, varied, multiple, confusing and very detailed with a number of different possibilities for execution every play, depending on QB read and adjust. They're 8 games into it, it should start cleaning up on the false-start, illegal man downfield kind of crap soon'ish.

I made another thread on this exact thing. I’m very bothered by it

Could be a Problem that McDaniel has not been good addressing
However, we are playing a lot of backups

I don't buy that. Plenty of flags were thrown against the Lions today. Also, out of this entire season I can only point to 3 or 4 "questionable" calls against us. This happens against every team in the NFL. We really need to stop with this grand conspiracy theory against the Dolphins.

I dont think the refs knew what the neutral zone was today
I personally believe you're onto something, not joking I rewinded multiple calls and saw nothing. They were bad imo, but a wins again regardless.

Presnap penalties. But I believe they are being coached to play free to some extent. A really could basketball coach at UCLA taught rush but don't hurry. Another at Duke taught and practiced to play fast. It's a process and it takes time. There are signs it is working but also some current drawbacks. You hear dumb it down. In the long run that philosophy equals average. If your hope is cleaning up bubble gum wrappers. This not your team.
