Penalties under Saban

Love him or hate him, you have to admit that Saban is doing a great job when it comes to penalties. It seems like a long time ago, but how could we ever forget the tenure of Wanny and the countless penalties, false starts, delay of games and just overall lack of preperation this team had. At least now most of that seems fixed, with the exception of the inexperienced DB's that get PI calls every once in while

Well everybody was screaming early how "bad" they are coached earlier this year because of penalties. It just seemed like alot of miscommunication early and just a case of guys needing "to gel". Its crazy to think this guy isn't a good coach, but truth be told he has gotta get this team more focused to play early in the season. Tho exciting to go on late season streaks, it doesn't mean much if we can't move on to the next round.

Saban is reapeting last season we lose our beginning games but come back in win our last 6 games and this year we will win more than 6 finishing games and we have a chance at a 10-6 record.

the reason we are slow out of the start is because w ehave no continuity. @ years 3 qbs 2 ocs and 2 dcs its hard to build from year to year when the foundation changes. by week 6 the team gets on the same page

WHAT ARE YOU TALIKING About?

the finz were PLAUGED with penalties in the 1st 5 games
of the year and lead the leauge with penalties i am sure.

maybe still do, but the last two games have been alright.

there are things I give Saban credit for, but reducing penalties isnt one of them. maybe with the team he inherited there were so many things to work on that penalties were not a priority. maybe he's still learning (which is OK)

in any case, at this point in his career, keeping his team's penalties in check is not one of Nick Saban's strongpoints.
