Yes our penalities hurt, but what an improvement. I was very happy to see the penalities decline and to see Ronnie Run hard. I also thought Ricky ran hard but was plagued by a bad line. Welker was good again. Those are my top positives of the game. KC made our D look bad and our passing was poor.

the D is incredibly overrated, stalled offensive drives on our part or not.

This is a quickly aging D, and it has done nothing but inhibit the team's ability to win. All of the losses are on the team as a whole, and the defense certainly cannot escape any of the blame.

One of the biggest positives of last night's game was we finally had a game with under 10 penatlies (only 4 I believe). Unfortuately they were very cruical penalties, the biggest one possibily being the holding penalty on D-Mac which took back Ronnie Brown's touchdown. With that being said... we still lose the game but hopefully we can keep improving on preventing penalties.

Yeah but it looked like we had to cut back our overall level of aggressiveness to curtail the penalties. We should be able to play aggressively without making mistakes. You don't want to have to play on eggshells to avoid penalties.

Yea, I mean like they looked horrible so far in the Red Zone Defense category, huh!? Puhlease. The secondary is another story, but the run defense has NOT been that bad other than the last 2 games (OK 2 out of 6). But, what is the average age? I haven't looked to see. But I seriously have to disagree with your statement that the Defense has has done noting but inhibit the teams' ability to win. We can play "what if" and say, "If the penalties ahdn't happened what would the score have been?" However, that is just left too wide open to personal interpretation. Penalties and not making the big play's on "O" (IMHO) are he reason we aren't doin any better and the overall talent level on the offense. Oh wait, how about the coaching? Can we question any of their decisons about play calling? Maybe.

I still have to fall back to what I personally expect of the team this year and that is, that the entire team is in a rebuilding process and it will indeed show after this year.
