The fins need to fix the stupid penalties man, I know its pre season, a young team and what not but come on, theyve known about these penalties since little league its nothing new, they need to fix it man for real, just like last year and years before penalties play a big part with the fins and there production on the field and the outcome of games, Tony needs to get on there *** for that, atleast I think anyway.
 
Agreed. Tonys doing a good job, did you see him rip apart Bess for that penalty.
 
I just finished watching the game on NFL channel. There was 2 calls against Bess.. The 1st one was a false start, the other was illegal formation..

I rewound the first false start play several times and I didn't see ANY movement from him prior to the whistle blowing... The stupid Jags announcers were busy with replace from the previous play, but when they cut to the current formation, I didnt see any movement..

The illegal formation was ticky tack at best.. Bess was up at the line of scrimmage in the wide receiver slot, when he should have been 1 step behind the line of scrimmage.. Its a penalty, but not by much..
 
If the worst thing we cn complain about is penalty's then things must be looking good. Penalty's are 100% mental, and Tony and Bill will work wonders with this team in terms of cutting down mental mistakes or you'll be cut. I love what's going on with our Fish, I watched the replay of the Jags game and only watched Long play and I was very impressed he's a great pick. His ability to slip scoop to the next level is why R&R will have alot of big plays, his pass pro was solid allround. We may not win a tonne of games but ther gonna be a lot more fun to watch.

Nothing will cause a decent team to go to awful like some stupid penalties. It should be the first thing that we should complain about because most of the time they are avoidable. There was one roughing on Crowder where he slapped the Garrad in the head while trying to block a pass...but almost every other penalty was just a plain old mental error.

Actually it's the easiest thing to fix, especially during the preseason while cuts are still to be made. A lack of talent or drive to succeed takes new players to fix, penalties are mental and can be fixed with focus. It just so happens Parcells excels at making people focus at the task at hand. There are lots of penalties that have zero effect on a game but not being able to stop the run or defend the pass makes it impossible to win the game (as we watched all last year with our run defense).
 
the one hit to the helmet to the QB was a complete joke. 15 yarder for nothing. We overcame the refs, and thats what you do. Once you win, the refs lay off the stupid stuff. thats how it works.
