Pennington better than Favre on Long Balls

those stats are so misleading.

in crunch time do ya make the big throw.I don't care how far it is

how many super bowls and conference championships have Farve played in?

Who's going to Canton??

There is certainly more to be said. At this point in time, I'd rather have an intelligent and accurate Pennington than some grumpy ol man who can't decide whether to hang up his cleats or throw another interception.

The QB is the only person on the team that actually contributes to the win, right?

It's a shame the rest of us arn't half as impressed with you as you are with yourself.

this is a joke right. Farve is the master of bombs

Master of Bombs? No.. he just does them more than anyone. Because he's 'Brett Farve'. 82 completitions out of 290 attempts is awful. If he was Cleo lemon in a dolhin uniform with those stats peoplewhould have him for lunch! Or a garnish on a drink.

Take a look at this first play in this video.. This video was taken last season and as you can see Pennington throws that ball 50+ yards IN THE AIR for a TD pass to Coles ( it's the first play in the video).

Now please tell me why Pennington can't do that with Ginn ?? Penn threw it from his own 37 yard line and it was caught at the opposing 10 yard line and Coles walked in for a TD..

But you know what? I like the fact that Ginn will have to learn the intricate parts of being a receiver.. Because he just won't rely on his deep route, he will actually learn and become a better all around receiver with Pennington... But if Ginn wants to fly downfield, as you can clearly see in that video, Pennington can get it there-- with accuracy !

Good point my friend. Personally I'll take Chad over Brett any day. He's a great TEAM player with an accurate arm. Brett is a hot dog interception throwing machine. I can't stand the fact he broke Danny boy's records and I predict pain and more pain in game 1. >>>> FINS WIN 27 - 24

He can do that with Ginn and will. We are going to be pleasantly surprised. Chad got hammered by the NY media and Fans because he didnt take them to the superbowl, but in actuallity he got them a field goal away from the big game twice, to bad their kicker sucked. He is a good QB that is healthy right now and if he stays that way will be very impressive.
