This Chad Pennington and Chad henne story kinda looks like Drew Bledsoe and Tony Romo story in Dallas a few years ago.... i have a feeling before the season is over C. Pennington will have anther and another terrible game then we finally take Henne off the bench and that will be his last time on the bench kinda like t was for Romo.........

Bledsoe had a cannon...how can you even compare him to Pennington? If I'm not mistaken, didn't Parcells says Henne reminded him of Bledsoe??

Really? I've never heard this opinion expressed here. Thanks for the insight.

And do you really want Tony Romo? A guy who puts up big numbers except when it counts? The ultimate choke artist? The drama queen? Not me, sorry.

I hate the cowboys, but you have to admit, benching bledsoe that year and putting romo in the game was the best move they made....i don't think romo is top 5, but he has potential to be a great QB for the cowboys, and right now that's all we really need a good qb, chad henne will progress throughout the years

I think he is more so comparing situations... But a lot of teams have/had this same situation, Favre/Rodgers, Anderson/Quinn, Warner/Lienart.... I dont want to call for CP's head quite yet, yesterday was a team effort. Henne will get his shot and I hope he blows it up.

The biggest difference being of course that Romo the coaching staff enough in the preseason to let it at least be known as a possiblity. Henne hasn't shown crap.

Stop it

Chad henne is no romo. Chad henne stares down one receiver and uses his cannOn arm to squeeze it in. Smart defenders will be able to take advantage of him and jump routes. I'm sure it will be an open competition between white and henne.

I'd feel better about the original poster's analogy if it read: Pennington : Bledsoe as Henne: Brady.

Don't get down on Pennington yet. He's a proven winner. He'll bounce back and have us in position to win most weeks. It will help if the OL can keep his pants white, and the wideouts get some separation.

You know it's funny, they said the same thing about Peyton Manning until he won the super bowl.

I dont' see it. Only comparison between the four of them is that they live in america, and they are QBS. :err:

Pennington=Pennington & Henne=All the other crappy Qbs we have brought in since Marino retired
