Pennington doubtful for next week

I was watching sunday nights game and they annouced that Pennington is doubtful for sunday's game against buffalo. I guess will see once and for all if Henne is the answer for this franchise.

We will find out quickly too. Flacco, Ryan, Stafford, and Sanchez have played very well in their rookie seasons. Henne has had a year on the bench, he won't be given much time to determine what his future will be. Not when we're down 0-3, with the hardest schedule in the NFL. He has to show something. If he starts to flop like Beck, we might see another quarterback drafted next offseason. I rooted for Beck and he disappointed, I will be rooting for Henne too. I want our team to finally have a quarterback, but I just don't see anything special about Henne. I hope he proves me wrong though.

Pennington probably played his last game unless some scrub team is super desperate for a washed up QB next season....oh snap

Seriously though I'm kind of sad for Penny if his career ended today. The man loved to play I'll give him that.

If the Chiefs can pay Matt Cassel $63 million, and the Vikings can lure Favre out of pseudo-retirement for $25 million, you know darn well that Pennington will have a job next year. Quarterbacks are a rare commodity in this league.

Chad P can help another team. He made his mark here, and if indeed his time has ran out in Miami, then so be it.
