... and I do hope the Dolphins' brass recognizes this fact.

In addition to Pennington's numerous arm problems, I have it on extremely good authority that Pennington suffers from a condition known as Osteitis Pubis (http://www.emedicine.com/pmr/topic92.htm). And it's not something that necessarily gets better very quickly. It affects your core at the base of your abs, and certainly hinders your ability to coil and throw. Perhaps even a Bo Jackson type of career-hindering injury. I would venture to say that Chad is in a lot of pain when he throws a football, and his chances of getting a final big contract -- which was his goal on borrowed time with the Jets -- were not an option from the Jets brass. The Jets knew of this years ago.

I would emplore the Dolphins to be aware of this medical diagnosis, and clear him if he has in fact fully recovered from it.

This is a guy who really can't throw the deep out on a rope, anyway -- a VITAL pre-requisite for an NFL quarterback. I don't want to throw money after a QB that limited, no matter how nice a guy he is.

The big question with him, to me is his health. Thats the one reason i'd be cautious with him. But at the same time it's not as though you are asking him to step in and be a franchise player for this team, signing him to a long term deal for a hell of a lot of guaranteed money.

I have it on extremely good authority that Josh McCown has mental breakdown idis and throws a lot of picks....

we have QB's currently who don't have Osteitis Pubis who can't make those throws. I'm not concerned

He said pubis, uhuhuhuhuhuhuh

WOw.. people are acting like we gave up something like a second rounder for him to lead us to the promised land for the next 10 yrs or so.

Let's be honest. If he plays as well or better than Frerotte I'll be happy, because right now we know McCown sure can't.

Damn right. Man, I can't wait until he gets cut. I've got some champagne on ice, ready for the occasion.

All these "say no to Chad" threads make me laugh. What are we giving up by bringing him in, a draft pick, a player? Nothing.

The way McPick has regressed, we HAVE to bring Chad in. Please trifecta, make it happen.

How does this guy know Pennington has a problem pubis? Has he been hanging around Pennington's pubis???:bs:

You have it on good authority?

Fantastic, that's all I needed to know. Let's make up our minds based on a message board post by an anonymous insider.
