this week chad penningtons first and 10 foundation took a number of local kids to a super target and let the kids have a shopping spree. I posted this because its all ways good give credit to those that have a positive effect on the commuinity. That and since moving to knoxville its nice to see a nflqb gets some love that isnt named manning. :hi5:

That's great!!! I like Chad more and more all the time.
 
Why wasn't he at the facility watching film instead of wasting his time with a bunch of brats in Knoxville?

No I'm kidding, that's great that he did that...I was hoping to see a pic of him dressed up as santa, it would probably look hilarious.
 
I live in Knoxville, TN and let me tell you...Pennington is very well respected and liked up here. The feature an article about him and the Dolphins almost every week in the Knoxville News Sentinel...the guy is really good about giving back to the community up here...on top of the Christmas shopping spree he also hosts an annual summer football camp up here at his former high school..Webb...and he usually brings some of his teammates along. Needless to say I will try to go to Webb this summer when he has this camp and watch. He is a class act guy :) Go Phins!!

If they got an online newspaper (i assume everyone does now) you should post some links when you see them.

I am glad we have Penny as our quarterback he really is a class act and good person. It makes me hope just that much more that next sunday he goes back to New York and sticks it to em for the division title.:up:
 
He is a classy guy, that's for sure.

I wasn't sure if he was from TN until now. His accent pretty much gives it away but it can be hard to pinpoint that stuff.

There is not much to like in Knox, :sidelol:TN aside from the horrible whiskey.

Haha! Great story! Finally we have not only a leader, but a real class act @ QB. We could use more people like this in the NFL, with all the characters we have to deal with on a weekly basis. Just because you're playing a game and making millions of bucks doesn't mean you can't give back to the community especially during this time of the year. Hopefully he and the team can deliver us Phins fans a present: a trip to the postseason!
