Contrary to what most people think, Chad Pennington has been one of the most, if not THE most efficient quarterback in the league right now. Here's how he stacks up in some "efficiency revealing" stats against the next best quarterbacks in the league.

As you can see chad doesn't get to throw the ball as much as most of these guys (which is actually a good thing because that means we have a complementary run game) but when he does he is very efficient and does not make many mistakes. Keep that in mind next time we lose a game and you start calling for Henne. I'll take Pennington to lead my team any day of the week!

Thanks for the stats grizz! But i think Chad's fewer attempts has more to do with our defense sucking and not letting our offense be on the field nearly as much as any of the other teams' quarterbacks mentioned.
 
I would also like to add that Favre is still a huge pile of crap. Hall of fame QB? And he's barely in the top half of the league.....
 
idunno man we rank 17th in time of possession so were smack dab in the middle. and the above mentioned quarterbacks are on the field around the same amount of time.
 
I wish we could erase that dumb trade we made and have Chad back. We'd be alot better and you would be alot worse.

I'm not anti-Favre, I want him to succeed but he has been awful. I said it from the time the rumors started we were better off w/ Chad but no one listened and I hope it turns out that I was wrong but as of now it looks like I was correct. Favre is awful, he is killing us on a weekly basis allowing bad teams to hang around and it caught up to us last week and nearly did again yesterday. He needs to play alot better if we are going to reach our potential this year. As of today I think we are the worst team in the division.

I wish I hadn't picked Brett Favre for Fantasy Football!!! At least i was able to claim Chad off waivers. Maybe I can start winning now!! :lol:
 
He just needed a change of scenery he loves it in Miami he likes the staff he likes his position on the team and hopefully he is building a rapport with Ginn

He didn't need a change of scenery he needed to stay healthy. As long as Chad is healthy he's really good and he's healthy right now.

He's turning out to be just about what a bunch of us FinFans predicted he'd be based on 2 out of his last 3 years. Props to you though for seeing beyond the "joyful new puppy glow" before most. Ready yet to also acquiesce about the overrated, overmatched coach formerly known as "Mangenius" ??

Whats sad...he might make the pro bowl...simply just off of his name. Pennington needs to get his due! It would be messed up if he get bumped because of some mess like that.:shakeno:
