Pennington- "We are going to win the game running the football"

He's been a better addition than I thought. I'm very pleased. Without question the best QB here since Marino.
 
I'm glad that Penny isn't one of those me me me players but I would like our starting QB to at least want to win a game throwing the ball...

Maybe i'm reading into it too much but this sounds like lack of confidence.

I see where your coming from... to me tho it sounds like he is looking at the big picture and maybe the plan for that week was running so he's behind it. Ya know?

.yes i do understand that but until I saw him play for the Dolphins, I always thought he had some self-confidence issues.

TBH, Penny was the first person I thought of when I first saw J. Beck out there at QB. Maybe its because they both look so small (to me... the 270 lb nose tackle).
 
Maybe he's trying to trick the 49'ers into thinking they are going to run, when actually they will be throwing like crazy.
 
it was 16-3 against the Bills, he was tellin his guys running the ball was key to RUN OUT THE CLOCK! FINISH THE GAME!

I am happy to admit I was totally wrong about the guy. When I heard we signed him I thought Oh no not another injury prone reject QB. I was able to go to the Jacksonville preseason game and at that moment I knew we had our QB that we had been lacking since Marino. Only after a couple of practices he made the offense look sharp. Chad was a great addition to the team!
 
I think this will be a good game and if we win tomorrow it will be the sunday Night game for week 17. Who would have thought that the fins would be looking at a playoff bid???

I still think we are a year or so away from a SB shot, but who knows??? THis has been trully a team effort.

I completely agree, I was determined he was not the guy for us too but he quickly made me eat my words, I guess thats why im not a head coach.
