The majority of the problems today are Pennington's fault. When the opposing defense is not scared of the downfield passing game, they will go all out in rushing the passer. Yes, the o-line made a few mistakes, but they are not the reason our offense looked so pathetic today.

Pennington's time is over. Let the Henne era begin. I'd rather take the lumps I know are coming with Henne's learning curve than watch that pop-gun offense anymore.

A few mistakes, seriously? I's not like Atlanta blitzed us every passing down. They routinely beat our line rushing 4.

Pennington did not have a good game, but I'm sorry, blame him over the OL is just asinine.

When the opposing defense doesnt respect your ability to run the ball, they can also get after the qb. How does Chad Henne change that? How does Chad Henne suddenly make Bess, Camarillo and co downfield threats?

Beacuse he can actually get it there. Pennington looked like a scared child

This might be the most asinine post I've ever read on this board, and that's really saying something. Did you watch the line play at all? Carey and Long looked like a couple of turnstiles. They still couldn't run up the middle. Long got abused by someone named Chad Biermann at one point. Get the **** off the meth dude.

Everybody used to say the Texans had the worst O-line in football, until they finally got rid of David Carr. Once they got rid of the QB who was timid & held the ball too long, they became a respectable offensive line with the same starters.

Same with Penny.

The problem is Henne holds the ball too long. The O-Line lost this game for Miami much more than Pennington. Chad was hearing footsteps most of the game. They couldnt get any push for the running game and the play calling was questionable.

Pennington looked like Beck today. OL didnt have a great game, but Pennington held onto the ball way too long too often...

i agree the O-Line is to blame way more than Pennington, even tho Pennington didnt play good.

I dont post much but when watching the preason how many times did Henne even go deep??? Not much but Henne does hold the Ball and not that agile so even if he got his chance with the Oline today he would of got hit too, so dont say it was all Penny. The line was horrible today and nothing clicked at all.

Well put. I'm just wondering why this concept seems so difficult to grasp?

Honestly Pennington didn't look good today but who did on the offense? Pennington had led 2 solid drives that Fasano turns the ball over. We score on those 2 drives we win the game. Outside of Bess and Ricky the entire offense looked like they phoned it in. You can't put all of this on Pennington. He can only throw the ball. He can't make them hold onto it.

Chad can't hold the ball for more than 4 seconds and not expect some pressure. He just looked lost out there, and you can tell he doesn't have the confidence to throw some passes. I have a hard time believing Atlanta had us locked up downfield...
