Miami has been said to have made the worse pick out of the whole first round? Here we go again who is leading them Jeff Ireland??

Dont listen to them.

James was going to go in the low to Mid 20s. I was hoping like heck he would slide to Bills in the 2nd but the more I researched he was a Solid pick in the 1st.

Could you have traded down a bit, yeah maybe and got what a 3rd, or a 4th and then lose out on the best pure RT in the draft. Not sure the risk reward was there for that extra third of 4th.

Thanks. Your pick of Sammy Watkins is working on my 12 YO son. A Dolphins fan who wants a Bills jersey. He is also a CJ Spiller fan. I have my work cut out for me there.

Totally agree. Best analysis of the decision posted so far out of the hundreds of posts.

BTW, congrats on the Watkins pick. Not sure I would have done it. The Bills have many other needs but at least it generates some excitement in Buffalo.

wondering what the bills are going to do with all those receivers.

i'll take marquise goodwin please.

Yeah they do have needs still RT being one of them and that is why I was hoping for James to slide. However they are obviously only going to be as good as EJ and that offense so sending two picks away next year, though it is out 1st for Sammy I have no issue with it. Specially when you consider the looming ownership decision, this coaching staff and FO has to win now to keep their jobs IMO. Once I put that context on it I completely understand this trade, and if I was Whaley, Brandon and Company I probably would do the same.

Knowing I also keep all my picks in this draft which is really deep.

Watkins scares me because he is a beast, congrats I would love to have him. Beat the Jets

Right now I am not sure, I think Stevie is on the Block.

Right now out top 5 look like this.

Watkins
Johnson
Williams
Woods
Goodwin

I think if they do not move Stevie this year it is a tryout year between him and Mike Williams, to see what one stays next year and what one goes.

So, I have head no one suggest that James is the worst pick of day one. Yes, many are saying it was a bit of a reach, but a position of need, so C- seems to be the consensus. Everyone is picking the dude who Philly drafted as the worst pick, biggest reach, especially when considering who else was available. So everyone calm down.
