People are MAD about getting Culpepper????

This is a fan base who had Jay Fiedler, Ray Lucas, AJ Feeley and Gus Frerotte and they are COMPLAINING about getting Daunte Culpepper??? :eek:

This is the type of thing that makes me want to join the VIP forum.

How much is that?
 
I think most people are upset with the second round pick, but in hindsight that will seem like nothing considering we gave a second for Feeley and Daunte has as high of a ceiling as any QB in the NFL. He has had, stastistically, some phenomenal seasons and as nice as Brees has played, you can't say those things about Brees. So what if that was with Randy Moss, last I checked Moss didn't do so hot without Culpepper either. That just tells me that we can expect some skyhigh numbers from Chambers.
 
Don't you know you can't please evreybody. We could have gotten Marino in his prime and people here would be complaining.
 
$24 bucks..Im going to join it.People are sick in the forum.This is the best trade since Ricky Williams,Its costing a second round pick in 2007.That to me is a great deal.We got a.j feeley for a 2nd.People get real.When we did that .people were loving it.Now we got a pro bowl QB,and people are complaining.This is sad.
 
Long time lurker(2 years) first time poster, I think it is laughable that some people dislike this deal, I wanted brees or culpepper. People who claim this is a wanny type move should be banned for such an idiotic statement, these type of posts have ruined this messeage board over the last year'n'half
 
I think the guy is a scumbag, but he upgrades the position nicely. Hell, bring in TO (really) next. They can win Fins fans over, just win. Ricky did somewhat this past year.
 
We could have reincarnated the spirit of Johnny Unitas circa 1958 and some people would still be unhappy.

This is a great deal...a 2nd rounder for Culpepper makes us all see how inept our pervious regime was. I wanted Brees but am definitely satisfied with Culpepper. Hopefully he's happy to be in his home state and doesn't ***** about money
 
Second round pick for one of the top 5 Qb's in the league...Screw them if they're pissed.
 
Let's see...the whole Loveboat incident, tirades against the media, calling the city and police racists = scumbag in my book. I'm not a big fan of players that make demands on the organization they work for. Of course, he doesn't hold a candle to TO in most respects (but has TO ever been arrested?). I'll take him/them and give them a chance, but they have to prove themselves.
 
Another who mostly lurks but seldom posts......NEVER would we find the value of a Daunte Culpepper in the 2nd round......remember Brees is the QB he is due to have the BEST RB in the game today.....Fielder would have been effective with LT2 in the backfield....the guy friggin cashed in today and I'm glad we didn't write the check!!!! The knee obviously is an issue and hopefully it plays out well but from what I have seen of Saban as a NFL coach and at LSU the guy does his due diligence in EVERYTHING he does and that makes me feel pretty good about the knee. Culpepper at his age right now if healthy is a legitimate FRANCHISE QB...to get that for a 2nd round pick is highway robbery......I certainly hope beyond hope it works out with his knee but this is the FIRST time since Marino where I believe we have a chance to do something special..........give Daunte the keys and enjoy the ride....get your roll on children....I am excited:D

Duante Culpepper is a very, very, very good QB, at top 5 QB when healthy. For the 51st pick in the draft????? How can you not be estatic about this. Ok, Culpepper, or, $10million dollar Brees, Ramsey, McCown, or Frerotte. Cmon now!!! It's a no brainer!!! Brees would have killed our cap room!!!!! I like Brees too, but how can you not be excited about getting Duante Culpepper!!!!!!!!!!!
