C'om on guys, give him a break....and open ur

I promise you the top QB's in the league would have put up the same numbers AJ put up that night. Manning, Favre, brady, mcnair, all those guys would have suffered behind this offensive o-line.

You need tIME!!!! To pick out open receivers, and if you dont even have time to find your 1st option, let alone ur 2nd or 3rd option, you gotta HUGE problem!

From the time a QB says "Hut!", you need at least 4-5 sec.s in order for your WR to run his route and get open, now when only 2 to 3 sec.s goes by and theres entire D-line in your face, what are you going to do? Nothing, nada, because you can't, its impossible.

and poor lamar gordon too.....he had zero running lanes, not even little creases.

The O-line is to blame......imo, they need to try this line-up

LT-Mcintosh
LG-james
C- mckinny
RG-jerman......(i say give this guy a try)
RT-Carey

Fix the o-line=fix this young season!

FINNALY! well said man, ive been trying to say that all week, i said that AJ only had a couple of secon to get rid of that ball, whenever he had time he through it well.

Exactly i thought he did as well as he could with the crap O-line in front of him. And when he did get to scan his receivers he had no problem finding them. That pass in the endzone was an INT and not a touchdown really, we got real lucky, and Chambers made an amazing play. But with a little blocking......hmfff...what am I saying I'm starting to sound like a playoff homer.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. If you watched preseason, whitney was a lot better then Jerman.

feely has a great arm, i like the way he zipped a few passes in there

(when he time of course)

I don't doubt Feeley. I still believe he can be succsesfull and will be the starting QB for years to come. He just needs to play more and needs better protection.

LOL, well i didn't get to watch any pre-season games, but those guys on the o-line have to start pulling their weight, for real

When AJ had the time, his passes led the receivers PERFECTLY. That one pass over the middle to McMike was a thing a beauty, and the result was alot of YAC! When have you ever seen Jay catch a receiver in stride?

People have to stop blaming Feeley for the mess Sunday night and put the blame squarely where it belongs....up front.

Totally agree with you on your point, but I'd go with this oline lineup:

LT - Mcintosh
LG - James
C - Hadnot
RG - Carey/mckinny
RT - Stclair

Not sure if its better than what we have, but I do know that Hadnot is one of our stronger linemen in terms of physical strength, which couldn't hurt right now, Smith looks more like a revolving door out there than a wall, and Carey needs experience playing the game, not sitting on the sidelines. Who knows what he's got? If you didn't want to start two rooks next to each other, slide Mckinny over to right guard.

I don't think Stclair was all that bad in either game (of course, he wasn't good, either).

I think Mckinny is as bad as Ruddy ever was. Almost (but not quite) as bad as Wade Smith.

I think its really sad too that the online would be on turf! They are the ones getting pan-caked!! :shakeno:

Ur right, mckinny would always be getting knocked down, as well as the other p.o.s. lineman we got

its sad....this team is huge waste of talant.....the "D" , chambers, mcmike, booker....all because of these over-weight, mcdonald eating, tubs of lard.
i mean they aren't even at least standing in front of the guy their supposed to be blocking....truly pathetic

AT least Stand in front of the blocker and give aj 3 seconds!! :yell:

mike vick coulda done good behind this line!...running the ball at least alot of the defenders woulda been behind him and not in front of him...jp but everyone should lighten up just a lil

That pass to mamichael took no skill at all. mcmichael was WIDE OPEN. my grandma could have made that pass. he didnt even hit him in stride mcmiachael had to jump up for it or we would have been even closer to the endzone or would have scored on that play with a good pass. And when he did have time he still did horrible. like that beautiful pass he had to simmons. its to bad simmons is on the other team or feeley would have another touchdown pass. feeley threw as many interceptions for touchdowns as he threw for are team and the one for are team to chambers was a horrible pass by feeley. Feeley should have had about 7 interceptions in that game. he sucks and shouldnt be able to start for anyone.

I can't understand anybody being able to judge Feely and Gordon's play with the horrendous performance that the OL had.

The issue, in my opinion, is not whether Feeley needs time to develop. Judging his as a player and given his experience HE DOES NEED TIME TO DEVELOP, so it is not his fault. The issue is that Wanny and Speilman put a project (who may end up being very good down the road) at QB (not to mention the O-Line) with an aging defense whose window of opportunity is closing. So the "win-now" philosophy is simply not applicable and I think the defense knows this and they are rightfully upset because they do not have time to let Feeley develop.

It's just the people who have no sense at all.
