People need to stop underrating the CB Travis Daniels...

I haven't seen anyone dumping on the guy, other than when initially picked and that was because of the "brother in law" factor.

Still, he's apparently doing ok in shorts at mini-camp.

Well yeah he does have an advantage with already knowing Saban system but he is just been really impressive so far and people still believes he sucks.

Where is this coming from??

Seriously, few if any of us has seen him yet (in a real game). And nobody is bashing the guy. The vast majority are optimisticly in wait-and-see mode. The fact that he was running first team over the weekend (mini-camp or not), and is a Saban guy, certainly doesn't harm his image around here.

I don't know what you're talking about.

I haven't seen anyone bashing him. Maybe people doubting him because he is a rookie. So he shut down Chambers without pads on and you think that's impressive? Do you see what's wrong with that sentence?

He is already showing himself to be a solid starting CB as he has been able to digest the playbook AND he has been able to SHUTDOWN Chambers in practice.

I tell ya what if I was a phin fan I would be a little more worried that a forth round rookie was shutting down my top WR than debating whether he is a starter or not.

I like what I have seen of him but he hasnt proven to be anything. Playing touch football in minicamp proves nothing. I dont think anyone is underating him; he is practicing with the first team

If i was a bill's fan i'd be wrong, which is why i'm a fin fan right?

What are people supposed to rate him?

He's a fourth round pick, and he hasn't even played in a game yet.

Like it has been said, he's had a head start cause he know the D.

Do you think him knowing the D and Chris Chambers NOT knowing the O yet might make him look better?

He could be a good CB someday, but as of right now he gets the respect he deserves, ...that of a fourth round pick, rookie.

Thats right,About the same as Losman  :rofl3: :D

I think you are seriously overrating the guy based on a few mini camps. We'll see what he does with pads on, and in a preseason game.

Daniels is an exciting young prospect but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. I suspect many thought the same thing about Jamar Fletcher at one time too.

I'll assume thats a joke:evil:

No it's not, Losman could turn out to be a probowler..................................
Or the next Ryan Leaf, Cade Mcnown, Jim Druckenmiller or well you get the idea.
By the way if he doesn't work out what is plan B ????????

People need to stop OVER rating him. Wow he was impressive at a mini camp. lets wait till TC and see what he can do.

Kelly Holcomb. He's our Gus Ferotte.

I'm surprised the Browns didn't try and keep him, he had some decent games for them in the past.
