People need to stop underrating the CB Travis Daniels...

What are people supposed to rate him?

He's a fourth round pick, and he hasn't even played in a game yet.

Like it has been said, he's had a head start cause he know the D.

Do you think him knowing the D and Chris Chambers NOT knowing the O yet might make him look better?

He could be a good CB someday, but as of right now he gets the respect he deserves, ...that of a fourth round pick, rookie.

For one I agree with a Jills fan

He is already showing himself to be a solid starting CB as he has been able to digest the playbook AND he has been able to SHUTDOWN Chambers in practice.

Before we name a National Holiday after this guy and anoint him gods gift to football, let's remember Chambers is going thru the motions and doing nothing stupid that could cause him to get hurt for when it really counts. Second he's also the guy who got burnt against Iowa on the Hail Mary that lost LSU the game. Granted it was busted play and might not have been his fault but he is the one people will remeber.

Hopefully he will do a good job after all once Sam is done, Daniels and Poole will most likely be our starting CBs

No he wasn't the player that screwed up the Hail Mary. It was Ronnie Prude, who will also be in the NFL next year. Travis was trying to come over and help once the play was busted.

Good point. But I don't believe he shut down Chambers. Didn't see or hear anything like that.

Its really hard to tell how players are doing during OTA's b/c while it may seem that T.Daniels is locking down Chambers, you don't really know if Chambers is going all out every play. Daniels has to go all out or run the risk of being cut.

Its like what the Bills have seen w/ R.Parrish. Yeah hes tearing up OTA's but you can tell that McGee and Clements are not going hard all the time, plus they really can't bump him w/ no pads.

Its a whole new ball game when training camp arrives b/c then its all out all the time

Hey dude, I hope he is everything we could hope for but he's a rookie. 99.9% of rookies get schooled thier first year. Maybe he'll be different. I'm just not going to expect it...
