Pep excels in Friday Practice

of course daunte will start... saban just throws this crap into the media to force the Pats to take into consideration our backup qb, and have to devote some of their time to watching his film/planning/etc... its just a coaching move

saban knows we can't go 1-4, have the Pats 4-1, and have any hope at making the playoffs. he's doing everything he can to coach this game.

Shush Belichick may surf this board and now you've gone and spilled the beans. Nicky isn't going to be a very happy camper when he finds out that you've blown his plan. :tantrum:

:sidelol:

"While the session was closed to the media before team drills began, a source said Culpepper "took a lot of snaps in practice and looked good"

Where do you see he excels? Anytime someone quotes "A source" it comes off as shady to me

Culpepper had better learn to start stepping into his throws and get his timing down with the receivers also!!!

He exceled because he's not allowed to get sacked even once during practice, let alone 5-7 times.

I think he will start

I think he'll start also, but Saban is preparing JH by giving him snaps with the first team. If that is not an indication that CP is on a short leash (ie if he plays poorly in the first half he's gonna get yanked) then nothing is.

Let's hope CP can excel in Sunday's game instead of just against our pathetic excuse of secondary in Friday's practice.

Practice?
We talkin bout practice man? we aren't even talkin about the actual game.
what are we here talkin about? practice. practice!
we're talkin about practice man, practice.
we're talking about practice, man

hey at least DC aint stinking it up at practice. I think its all positive.I keep hearing about DC not fully stepping into his passes. If his leg is 100% then its a mental thing. Only thing to cure that is games.

Hard to step into a throw with nowhere to step

The line blocks and we win, simple as that IMO

He doesn't step into his throws when he does have time!!!!!! He just throws with his arm and doesn't put his body into it.
