Please stop blaming Pepper and starting threads as we need a new Qb and so on. For all of you crying about Pepper what did you think when we had Fiedler? Yes, Pepper hasn’t played to the level most of us fans expected. However, let’s take a look at the O-Line and the play calling as well. Pepper hasn’t played great, but he hasn’t played awful. Stop with the talk of drafting a Qb and that garbage. If you watch the games it is clear the O-line is the weakness. We need to pick up some O-line in the draft, but more importantly I believe we need to sign or trade for a great lineman. I believe we should take a look at drafting some O-line in the draft. I also know we are in need of a quality offensive lineman now and don’t want to wait for a young rookie to mature. The Raiders drafted Gallery a couple of years ago and there O-line is just as bad as ours. The draft will help, but the best way to improve our line is to take a look in the free agent market and grab a dominating lineman. Mix that in with the starting five O-line working together during training camp and our line will be much improved.

Then again... we didnt pick up a star o lineman in the offseason to look foward to. We always knew our o line is horrible. I assume we picked up daunte because he was a good qb who we thought could get the job done behind a bad o line.... obviously he cant

I thought Fiedler was horrible too, althought he had a lot of heart, he was horrible as our starting QB.

yeah like i said PAY SOMEBODY Lord knows all the players we missed out on cause we always had to have short arms and deep pockets thats the only thing i didnt mind about wannstedt he would have actually paid players not like jj and seemingly like saban want these bargain players

Get off of Peppers n***. He has been as aweful as the line has. Try to say he doesn't hold on to the ball way too long and give the other teams an easy sack.

We definately should've picked up a high-profile lineman to protect Daunte but we ignored that. Daunte is improving and its not just his fault that were 1-3

Please don't compare Fielder to Danute. If we still had Jay we would be 2-2 or 3-1 right now. The one thing he knew how to do was win. We don't need new OLman, what we need is a QB who knows how to adjust protection, that is HIS job not the OL.

I think the lack of offense is 80-20, 80% falls on the line and 20% falls on CP.
You can see a little improvement each week with CP. He still holds the ball too long and does not pick up the open man. But this line is the worst I have seen in 40 years of watching the Dolphins.

Well I haven't been alive that long but I will take your word for it. There isn't much more to be said about this line that hasn't been beaten to death already.....just awful.

Right about Fiedler? Fiedler sucked.

I have personally watched the games on tv and seen open recievers that daunte has missed and its not just once or twice... its many many times... dauntes job isnt just to throw the ball, its to read defenses, adjust to them, adjust to whatever shape his o line is in, score points, and win games.... so far hes not doing that... the only thing the o line isnt doing is giving daunte enough time to have a cup of tea before throwing the ball..... if hes such agood player then he needs to adjust... and WIN SOME GAMES i mean david carr adjusted to his crappy o line why cant daunte?

I Cpep playeed with the heart of Fiedler he would be awesome... But Cpep isnt making me excited. Im not going to give him a free pass. All these threads asking us for patience. Sorry.. Cpep was brought here to be a winner... now we looked like we got the worst of the big free agent QBs of the offseason... and we look foolish.

No kidding, huh?? It baffles me that everybody dogs Fiedler when all he did was WIN! Win, win, and win. He won, what, about 65% of his games??? The guy had heart, was tough as nails, and gave it 110% on every play. Sure, he made mistakes but he made up for them with all his 4th qtr comebacks. People have seem to forgotten. Buffalo, Indi in the playoffs, Oakland, Washington, Denver, ...just to name a few. HE WON!!!!!!

You are ******ed. How many picks do you think he would have thrown for touchdowns ? The offensive line is inept plain and simple. Football games are won in the trenches, and we're losing the battle upfront.

Hey quick question for you. Is Fiedler on a football team right now? Yeah that’s what I thought. There is a reason he is out of the league and the Bucs cut him. Good call there, why don’t you check his playoffs stats and you will be very impressed. I already said Pepper isn’t playing up to what we dolphin fans expected. It’s only been four games and he is coming back from a terrible knee injury. I am not making excuses for him but he has put up probowl numbers in the past. While Jays play was mediocre at best. I am tried of the bench him and stick Harrington in. Harrington won’t do any better with the line we have and I believe Pepper will improve as the year goes on.
