Did anyone see the part of the game where the announcers broke down Culpepper's throwing motion in Minnesota, then his motion in Miami. It's completely different where now he goes across his body with his follow through. I think this is why he is having problems this season. Pep needs to go back and look at the film of him in Minnesota and correct this, or he may never get it going. I also wonder if his knee is the reason for this change. Thoughts???

Yup, he's favoring the knee.

Its happening for 2 reasons

1- The injury

2- Lack of confidence in the O-Line, how can you step up in the pocket when there is nowhere to step 90% of the time?

While I agree with you, there are times he can step up but tries to do what he did in 2004 and before, run and buy time. That's what is hurting him most. He needs to understand he can't do this anymore, and get rid of the ball (Throw it away)

I think this means a lot. Between the injury, and how badly pushed back the offensive line gets pushed back, I'm sure he thinks stepping up could get him hit directly on his knee from one of his own men or the opposing team.

I could be completely wrong but I've played QB with a soso offensive line and it really is hard to step up sometimes...you just don't have the room.

Gettting away from center that slowly makes the defensive push even worse too. CPep looks like Marino in his final year...standing straight up, never pushing off. He shouldn't be playing yet...his leg isn't healthy enough.

I did notice the throwing motions in comparison to pre-injury and post-injury. It'll come in time before he can fully step into his throws. It was definitely a good analysis by Rich Gannon. I think by the seasons end, he'll be able to step entirely into his throws. It may come even sooner. I believe he's not hurt...I really think that his confidence level dampers his playing ability. I'm sure he's not at 100 % from where he was....that's a given....I mostly think that its just a mind over matter type deal IMO.
