For those of you still hanging on a thread like me that we traded Marshall to make room for Manning and Co... Salguero just tweeted that his source said "Now you understand why we traded him" pointing to the info on the incident that was released last night...
That is all, its over!

We suck again
 
They had been working on this since the combine, had nothing to do with the incident specifically which makes things worse. How did Ireland work on this for over a month yet not have a plan in place for a #1 WR... Especially while courting Manning, Flynn etc....

There is already a thread that says, "Manning was traded because of some sort of incident" ....you may have checked for it before posting a new thread about this????

Well at least we all know this is a blatant lie. We DID NOT trade Marshal because of this incident as said on the morning drive and of which makes perfect sense. The story of Marshall broke last two nights ago and Marshall was traded yesterday. Thats only about say a 12 or so hour window. Trades do not happen in 12 hours. This trade has been in the works before this incident happened. Armondo and the Dolphins FO think us fans are morons!
 
We are still not out of the Manning race although not likely. They met for 6 hours a couple days ago you gotta think Manning told them Marshall would not affect his decision one way or another. But Miami is not in the lead for him idk i just want this to go away....
 
If the Marshall trade were about Manning, Manning would have signed by now...

instead he drafted a position that we were loaded in and has potential serious injury concerns with his leg, and a good for nothing below average LB with no special skill set to speak of. Just a plug type player

Dez Bryant has the same problem as Marshall. Can you imagine how much trouble Dez would get in if he were mentored by BM?
 
this front office is a joke, if we had this planned then we should have traded him weeks ago so we could sign vincent jackson!
 
Remember last week Ireland rushed out of the UM pro day with the head of player personel after getting a phone call. My guess is that was when he was informed of the issue. They probably took a couple of days to investigate it and make the calls to see who would make the best offer. None of this feels like it was planned out for weeks. Marshall crapped the bed and got kicked to the curb before we got stuck with the smelly sheets. He is Chicagos problem now.
 
I'd actually respect the trade a little more if they did it because of the incident. If they were working on a trade before hand, that means they were prepared to create yet another void in our roster, yet another vital target for the draft and FA. Doesn't make much sense.
