Why do you think i am so upset at the trade? Because of the compensation and because of the lack of a plan in place to replace him aside from that was a smart move.

thats fine if your fed up and get rid of him but you have to bring something in to take his place...what the heck...reggie wayne signed for $17.5 mil over 3 years and likely will never even see all that money you telling me we could have matched or done slightly better than that to get him for the short term at least...

you can't just create more damn holes to fill...

They need to draft Blackmon. That is the only way they make up for this...
 
The Dolphins came into Free agency to kick ass and chew gum... they are done kicking ass!!!!!!!!! lol

unless you're planning to rebuild from the draft long term.

who knows, maybe BM was a major headache to work with on a daily basis to the team. we'll never know for sure. fins want a high-character, company man. i'm sure his criticisms of our qbs didn't help him win favor.
 
i was pissed at first when i read about trade, but more i started thinking about it i realized we were going the younger qb route. marshall will be addition by subtraction. elite qb's set diva recievers in their place. a younger guy like moore, tanny, flynn or hell even henne last season would just get their confidence eaten up by someone like marshall. the mannings, marinos, montanas, bradys (unfortunately) would set them straight and make them play harder and tell them to catch those f'n passes they dropped or next time they'd break their damn fingers. would i be happy going into the season with hartline, bess, gates as our top 3, i dont think so, but on paper if everything pans out that can be just good enough for hte west coast offense to work here. a deep threat with gates getting a full offseason to hopefully improve, hartline though is yac doesnt always pan out is a pretty nice reciever and in the right offense bess could easily match marsh's receptions. i dont live in miami so i cant say anything about putting butts in a seat, but my butt will still have sunday ticket regardless if we still have the beast or monster on offense
 
I just dont understand how this could have been an organized, thought out trade.. I see it more as a spur of the moment, lets dump him for what ever we can get..

I give Ireland more credit than just accepting two 3rd round picks and claiming thats all he's worth... Chit.. throw in a ST player or two along with the 2 picks and then maybe it was a pre-conceived trade..

there is no way that the bears knew about this and still pulled the trigger. miami probably jumped on the first team that made an offer.although they may have planned to trade him prior to the incident.

instead he drafted a position that we were loaded in and has potential serious injury concerns with his leg, and a good for nothing below average LB with no special skill set to speak of. Just a plug type player
