Can you say "SUBTERFUGE"??? I myself am now convinced that Ross/Parcells/Ireland infiltrated our beloved organization,and have destroyed it from within!!! I think we've suffered enough,but unfortunately,it looks like more is coming......
 
b/t fellas good luck trading up from #8 to #5 for a 3rd rounder and another late pick..i doubt you could move up to #7 for that...like no chance

Its 3 spots. I think it can be done for a similar price if I recall from previous drafts.
 
I would not trade up for Blackmon....we should trade down and take Wright of Baylor or Floyd of Notre Dame.

They had been working on this since the combine, had nothing to do with the incident specifically which makes things worse. How did Ireland work on this for over a month yet not have a plan in place for a #1 WR... Especially while courting Manning, Flynn etc....

My thoughts exactly...I didn't mind getting rid of Marshall and his baggage, but what bothered me is there was no plan "A" in place.

This trade absolutely was in the works long before the incident happened. Perhaps they did it with the intention of getting both Manning and Wayne (of which fell through), but regardless of anything, this trade was consummated long before the incident.
