Yea i acually like this one Better Sam Baker or Cherlius would be a Great Pick up so would Martellus Bennett

That would work for me...I just worry that Cromartie will get scooped up because of his speed, if he is gone I would like Fred Davis, TE, USC or James Hardy, WR, Indiana, at the # 32 spot.

Yea i think that if he is gone then we should go with Fred Davis i am pretty sure he will be there at #32

Phillips is so hard to judge, some people have a mid 1st round grade on him, others have a 2nd round grade. I haven't seen enough Miami games this year to say either way. He's an interesting player who seems to be all over the place in terms of ranking, a good or bad combine will probably give us a better indication of where he goes.

I respectfully disagree. Here's my "perfect" draft for the Fins.

ROUND 1 (from Cincinnati) - Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie CB Tennesse St after trading with Cincinnati: their 1st and Chad Johnson for our 1st.

ROUND 2 (from Chicago) - Philip Wheeler ILB Georgia Tech after trading with Chicago (so they can finally get a QB): their 2nd and 4th for our 2nd.

ROUND 2 (from Minnesota) - Bruce Davis OLB UCLA after trading Jason Taylor to Minnesota.

ROUND 2 - Branden Albert OG Virginia or Roy Schuening OG Oregon St.

ROUND 3 (from Carolina) - Jamar Adams SS Michigan after trading with Carolina: their 3rd and 5th for our 3rd.

ROUND 4 - Lavelle Hawkins WR California.

ROUND 4 (from Chicago) - Erik Ainge QB Tennessee (in case John Beck doesn't work out).

ROUND 5 (from Carolina) - Spencer Larsen ILB Arizona.

ROUND 6 - Kellen Davis TE/DE Michigan St.

ROUND 6 (from St. Louis) - Jacob Hester FB LSU after trading Ricky Williams to St. Louis.

ROUND 7 - Benjarvus Green-Ellis RB Mississippi.

ROUND 7 (Compensatory pick) - Keilen Dykes DT/DE WVU.
 
If Cromartie fell to us in the 2A spot i would be ectatic. I dont' think it will happen, it will depend on the combine but if he did that would be a steal.

As for the top pick we can't go wrong with Long, Long, Dorsey and to a lesser extent Ryan, although i don't think we go down that road.

Since there is so much speculation the top pick is so subjective at this point. I like the 2-5 round picks listed above by several posters. A second round qb would be nice depth shall beck not turn out.
 
I guess I'll throw my hat into the ring:

1- Glenn Dorsey: I know everyone is saying Long right now, but I think Dorsey is going to be a great one. This is not anything agaisnst Howies boy as he will be a good one, but I just think there's a higher upside for greatness with Dorsey.

2a-Anthony Collins: Has all the ability in the world to develop into a franchise LT...Solid blocker in both aspects of the game....Nice size with ability to still add more weight to his 6-6 frame.

2b-Jerod Mayo: NIce size and still has the ability to add more weight without affecting his natural athletic ability. Lead the the SEC in tackles in 2007. When he makes a hit, you hear it. 3-Justin King: His down season serves as a blessing for our Dolphins. This kid has everything athletically you look for in a top 5-10 pick. 4-Trae Williams: Yes another CB; Williams doesn't get the attention that Jenkins gets, but when we look back 3yrs from now people are going to wonder how this guy fell to round 4. 6-Tommy Blake: If this kid can drop some weight he could possibly be developed into an OLB rush specialist in the 3-4. At one time had a great 1st step and non stop motor, but had some issues come up during his senior season where he took a leave of absence from the team and came back out of shape. Why he left the team, I have no idea, but this question will be asked by every team during his interviews. 7-Keilen Dykes: Played DT for West Virginia, but has the size and all the athletic ability to convert over to a 3-4 DE. If the Phins can pick him up in the 7th round they have got themselves a solid DE for years to come. I know this is a very defensive heavy draft, but that's where we really need to get young. I think we'll pickup a TE in F/A and I also think we might be able to hit on some undrafted FA. I also see us picking up Bryant Johnson in FA also.
 
Long is way too small to play end. He seems more like an LB in a 3-4 to me.

How do you figure WAY too small for end. He is 6'4 and about 290lbs. If he is way too small, than Jason Taylor has no business lining up at end. Taylor is 6'6 270lbs. Long is one of the biggest DEs in the draft this year.
