Actually for years I have defended Fiedler to dolphin fans. I used to post on the Sun Sentinel board a few years back and always got into arguments defending Fiedler and I was very happy when we signed him as a backup.

Arm strength is very overrated, Chad can make all the throws he needs to make. It's great to have a QB w/ a strong arm but that doesn't mean anything if he's not good. Browning Nagle had a rocket for us and he stunk, Ryan Leaf had a rocket and that didn't turn out well. Chad has a good enough arm to make any throw he needs to.

Chad had a weak arm to begin with!

To make matters worse his throwing shoulder is pretty much wrecked!

Next season he wont have any velocity on anything he throws over 25yds!

Don't know why we try to have rational conversations with Jet's fans. 98% of them are just obscene people that like to instigate others. The other 2% are just not worth it.

I am not a violent person, but there has been two different occasions that almost happened.

I agree with you that Jay's a very good backup QB, maybe one of the better ones in the league, he just should not be starting for any teams, any longer. What you're going to find is that when Chad goes down, like he always does, Jay will do well against non-AFC east opponents, but Buffalo, NE and even NY figured out how to beat Jay, i.e., keep him in the pocket. He's a TERRIBLE pocket passer, but a good QB when he's on the move. You'll see.

I was wondering why Feely wouldnt just throw the ball Chambers way about 40-50 yards up the field along the sidelines. With Chambers jumping ability wouldnt he make alot of those cathces? Especially with Booker on the other side and Boston running across the middle of the field and Mcmichael and Ronnie out of the backfield. How can they be stopped?
