Perfection

CBS did a super-slow-mo of Woods swing yesterday....breathtaking! It was so perfect and square at impact, and his DRIVER was so low to the ground, just crazy.

Nick Faldo couldnt stop fawning over it! He is in a whole other class of Golf!

There are few things I get more enjoyment out of than watching Tiger at his best. It's almost magical. He nearly does the impossible, perfecting the most imperfectible sport.
A lot of people don't like Tiger. To each their own. His public life is a now win situation, and until he becomes some immoral criminal, I won't care.
All I know is that there will be very few times in my life that I will witness the actual fulfillment of unrivaled potential.

I loved the days of Faldo and with him gone and Tiger is out there it is amazing to watch him swing, thanks for the video, the way his shoulders turn and his head is hardly moving, what a great coil, his swing is a lot flatter than I would have thought for his height. The driver looked like it was square coming through so low to the ground, hitting the ball perfectly just above the middle. I consider myself lucky, but when I was getting my associated degree in golf management, his father came with Jaime Diaz to give a talk. It was fascinating to hear how he prepared Tiger to be this good of a golfer.

All I can say is that it is a damn good thing that the Ryder Cup is a team match, otherwise we would have mo chance against the US.

It gets kind of old seeing Tiger win every competition.....there doesn't seem to be much competition for him....he just seems to be quite a lot better than the 2nd best player. I think most other golfers are just happy putting up a good round and going home with their $300,000 paycheck....even the suckiest golfers make more in a weekend than average person for a couple years work.

 Tiger is just unreal. It is so much fun to watch him play. Anyone that can make golf even mildly exciting is something else. He is the only reason I own a set of clubs and ever even picked one up and started playing.

i read an article about that commercial -- i wish i could find it again, but it was a blurb about how it took Tiger 2 takes to make the commercial... thats how perfect he is....i go to the range and i hit 150 balls -- maybe two of them are close to right on....watching tiger, single handedly made me want to try golf...

Me too. You don't hear much about it's flatness, but I've always wondered about it.
That's a great story. I hear the late Earl Woods was a very friendly man.

Yeah, that team concept just ain't working over here

Nice to see a female golf fan here
Singh definitely has the swing to compete with Tiger. The poor guy just has a case of the Johnny Miller's.

i originally thought sergio was going to be able to hang with him, but something happened to him.. He flat out sucks now, but like someone else said you could finish 20th at a major tourny and make 250G's sooo i guess it still pays to be mediocre...

On another note: michelle wie is embarrassing herself. I wish she would just stop with the pga tour crap. Yes, we get it, women and men should be treated equally, but thats why there is a woman's tour..

Sergio doesn't seem to have what it takes upstairs to compete with Tiger. I think the fact that Tiger is the best both mentally and physically is what makes him so dominant. You can argue that Mickelson or VJ are just as talented physically. But no one touches Tiger in the mental part of the game.
