I have read some NFL players have already recieved their performance bonuses for this year. Does anyone have any information?

Im curious to see what Davone Bess recieves because he def. out played his contract this past season.

If i find anything Ill be sure to share.

Each NFL team paid out roughly $3.2 million in the bonus is all I've seen so far. some sites reported some players, miami hasn't
 
There should be a LOSER bonus for guys that play no where near their contract like wilford.
 
lol you know I agree. Maybe the NFL should hold a guy accountable for not playing up to thier contract.

Well you would have to somehow quantify their poor play in terms of money. everyone knows Wilford was bad but how do you quantify that moneywise.

Mybe not in stats but in atleast playing in a game and not being activated for 12 games.
 
The government should force the players to pay back those performance bonuses! We can't afford to be paying for those bonuses with our taxes especially in this bad economy! It just makes me mad how these players can rip people off like this! It's an outrage! An outrage I tell you!

Therein lies the problem of guys getting inactivated or such things based on monetary issues... it would just be a sticky issue.

The way contracts are structured now is fine... just be glad its not like the NBA.
