In NFL Europe right now Brock Berlin

This is just a possibility not something I see as likely or think will happen

Last Pre-season Berlin actually played pretty well and Saban said he was sorry he had to cut him, this offseason he was re-signed and sent to NFL Europe, possibly to get some real playing time and see what kind of a player he can be, through all the QB talk no-one ever mentions Brock but obviously saban likes something about him

Thoughts? Opinions? Idea's?

I thought Berlin did well in the pre-season, for a rookie. If he improves while over in NFL Europe, we may have to at least give him a look....

PHINZ RULE!!!

i really like this kid, i hope he makes the roster this season as the 3rd string QB.

Well, look at it this way. We have Cleo-young with potential. We have Brock- young with potential. We will draft a QB most likely who is-young with potential. Anyone see the trend? We will always have young QBs with potentials. They'll will get their chance, or they will give us value in a trade. No more crap QBs on the roster, we will be stocked with potential for quite a while.

And yes, I too thought Brock played well in the pre-season.

Nah....I just dont have a good feeling about Berlin. He played alright in pre season...but really....so did AJ at times..and remember how much you all just loved AJ. Berlin might make an alright back up sometime in the future...but nobosy should waste any time thinking of him as a starter.

i think there is 0% he makes the roster. We aren't going to keep him over Cleo, and we aren't going to go into the season with Cleo as the #2 QB. I think brock is just a development project that will take atleast a couple of more years, maybe put him on the practice squad this year and send him back over next year again and then see where we are at in 2 seasons. Or maybe he will play good and get some trade value were we could pickup a 6th rounder for him. I don't think he has any career in the near future with us.

Berlin... please no way. I am a hurricane fan and I don't want Berlin anywhere near this team... maybe 3rd string. but thats it.

As much as I want us to get Cutler I think he'll get snatched by the Cardinals. That leaves us Omar Jacobs or if Miami wants to take a gamble on Marcus Vick in the later rounds. I see us getting Michael Huff from Texas as #16.

IDK the cardinals need OL realllly badly. Or maybe Dangelo Williams if they dont think JJ is the answer

I agree Berlin sucks. I'd rather start Cleo Lemon over that fool. Maybe even Casey Printers.

I didnt like him on the canes either

But in pre season he played very well, especially for a rookie

Everyone has to start somewhere guys. Berlin is no exception.....

You guys who are saying Berlin sucks, are basing you opinions on what he did in college. I personally thought he was a bum at UM, but once I saw him throw in the pre-season, I stood up pretty quick and took notice. He ran our offense better than anyone expected IMO....

Afterall, you can't judge a book by it's cover.....
