Bills formally part with whole coaching staff

Bills fired their entire coaching staff, including interim head coach Perry Fewell.
The Bills believe the ends will justify the means with a second interview lined up for Bill Cowher. It's just too bad they're losing a quality coach like Fewell, who was the defensive coordinator before being promoted following Dick Jauron's midseason firing. A Cover 2 mind with a DBs coach background, Fewell's secondaries always came to play, and the unit finished 2009 No. 2 overall in pass defense. Fewell won't have trouble resurfacing as a defensive playcaller somewhere like Chicago, Minnesota, Tampa Bay, or New Orleans. Jan. 4 - 11:35 am et

i know him and our HC have history together i think it would be a good fit.

Bobby April has been one of (if not the best) special teams coaches for a while...

But somebody has done a terrific job with Carpenter and Fields IMO....I don't know if it's Bonamego or one of his assistants....

I thought our ST unit did a pretty admirable job this year, especially when you compare it to last year. As for Perry, I thought the Bills were going to keep him around considering what he did with the Bills once he took over. They seemed to be a lot more competitive during his brief tenure. However, I like Pauly P. and I want him to stick around. Our defense is only going to get better as our youth gains a little more experience and we get someone to replace Wilson (preferably that saftey out of Texas that has 8 INT and 16 PD on the season).

Paul Pas has got to go......for us older fans i hope Paul P is not another Tom Olivadotti... Shula keeped him around for years while our D stunk it up worst DC in Dolphins history in my opinion Paul P is running second

Sparano and Fewell know each other pretty well, maybe.

You must be kidding. With the exception of ONE game, Ginn has been complete garbage on KR's and Bess is a below average PR!

Defensively, bro. Compare our defensive special teams to last year. I remember giving up so many big plays it's burned a hole in my eyes. Now I will admit that you have a point about Bess and Ginn and the return game. That is an area that I would like to see some improvement in. I think it's a personnel issue more than a coaching issue. Ginn is indecisive and Bess just doesn't have that breakaway speed. Throw Hilliard back there on KRs and PRs. I mean the guy did run away from his German Shepards when he was a kid and he has some pretty good speed. He made it to the edge a couple of times this season. I know, I know, what a great idea huh?

Either way I think we are moving in the right direction so I am not worried.

if any RB is being put in on KRs or PRs its either cobbs or, very likely, sheets. btw, the one play sheets was in was a wildcat sweep and he looked really quick. i think there is alot of potential for this guy, too bad he is behind 4 other running backs on the depth chart.

if hes gonna make our defense look ANYTHING like Buffalos,I think I'll survive w/ Pauly P.....

too bad they have a better defense than the dolphins. especially since its now a "passing league", and the dolphins D had nothing against the pass this season.
