I live in New York but flew to MIA for the game and was fortunate enough to sit behind Greg Camarillo's mom, dad, sister, brother, aunt and cousin

they were very nice people and i asked them about Greg's knee and his mom told me he just had surgery about 2 weeks ago by the same doctor that operated on ronnie brown and joey porter's knees....who both seem to be responding pretty well so that is good to hear, she also said his rehab is going very well

another little thought, i heard his older brother talking to his aunt (after ginn dropped that ball crossing the field near the sideline) and he said Greg helps to keep ginn focused and that ginn really misses his presence, when he talked to his younger brother ...i agree

Interesting. Thanks for the inside information. I hope he gets back to action quickly.

sweet, they're like small town celebrities... Nonetheless, I hope he can return to the form he was in this season. Talk about a beast.

In regards to Ginn. Why does it seem like this kid is dependent on this and that? I mean, Cam goes on IR and the guy goes back to last year? Honestly, was Cam THAT much of a leader?

I saw the family of #81 of the 49rs a couple rows down from me. Also talked to greg on facebook and he said he will definitely be back next year.

I don't mean to call your bluff...but I TVoed the SF game and the commentators stated that Camarillo is scheduled for surger "this" week...:err:

With the part of him keeping Ginn focused, I saw that alot during the training camps. I went to all the training camps and noticed they were bonding like real good friends, always talking to each other and helping each other out

I think it was the lovely FKA who had nothing but great things to say about the Camarillos after tailgating near them up in Jacksonville during the exhbition season. Greg's dad's a professor at Stanford. Sounds like a classy and supportive family he's got.

haha i just saw gregs family at the game too. his brother was wearing a jersey signed "to big bro, love greg"
