Personally, I think the cold weather issue is a problem without a solution.

Truth is no team plays well in a freaking snow storm, not even the home team. Buffalo could easily lose to the 49ers today because s*** happens...
I remember the Fins rolling over teams in cold weather with a solid running attack. Running is the key IMO.

New England brady teams always rolled over teams in the cold and snow

so what should we do? Move the team? Draft only players that have played a lot of of games in the snow?
The solutions have already been mentioned in here. Might have one or two that haven't:
Better, bigger players in the trenches
a real focus on the running game
a tough minded HC who doesn't wear Capri pants in the snow
A bigger, stronger armed QB
a mentally tough team and front office that doesn't make excuses and holds players accountable

We are soft. We are coached by a guy who doesn't believe players should wear pads in practice.

McDaniel and the staff is the reason we perform so impotently in these conditions..we are ill prepared in terms of gameplay, execution and scheme. It happens constantly and he can't adapt.

Those conditions are adverse. We cannot deal with a shred of adversity we just melt down bc the coach is clueless...which makes all of his post game bs speeches on adversity that much more annoying btw

That’s what you thought I said???

To me it comes down an issue this team has had for quite some time, OL play and defense. The best way to win in the cold is to be able to run the ball and keep it a low scoring game. Then hopefully you have a QB who can make enough plays to win the game. High flying passing attacks slow down when the wind affects the throw, your hands are cold and the hits hurt more. You just need tough guys which this team doesn’t have.

Did anyone see how Iowa State came out for warm ups in 12* temperatures yesterday?

Let me try to find it ibrb.

I can't find it, but they come out for warmups with out shirts on and stayed that way for 30 mins before putting their pads on.... and it was 12 degrees.

I think we can fix this issue but it starts, where it always starts, with the GM picking the right players.

I believe it starts with the owner, personally. They have to set the right tone, and ours doesn't get it. I don't mean they need to be out here publicly setting that tone, it has to be done internally, forcefully, consistently with no room for lesser. Based on the result, I don't believe ours has it.
