Peter Gammons in better shape

I know this doesn't have much to do with sports, but I believe Peter Gammons is a heck of a writter and more importantly a great human being.

Yesterday morning he sufferd a brain anyerism (sp?) and underwent surgery in the early afternoon. Reports are that Gammons is in better shape after being in the intensive care unit all night.

I'm very glad he is doing better because I look forward to seeing a great personality and great articles from a great guy in the future. Gammons was recognized last year by being voted into the baseball writters hall of fame just last summer. Again, I just want to recognize Peter for a great job in the office, and being an even greater man outside of it.

LOL! I am an all conference baseball player up here in Washington and love the game. Regardless of weather you like baseball or not, you have to like this guy.

No one has put in more time into a job than this guy. He loves to report and inform about baseball. And most importantly, he loves the game of baseball. I just love hearing the man speak.
