This guy is such a tool, Craftsmen engineers are thinking about drawing up specs on him! Here is what he wrote about the Pats not making it into the playoffs:

"The Patriots are one of the best eight teams in football right now, but they shouldn't be in the playoffs. Fair is fair. No violins because they went 11-5 and didn't get in. If they hadn't allowed Miami to use a high school formation to knock them senseless in September, if they hadn't gotten a silly David Thomas unnecessary-roughness penalty or a Matt Cassel interception two games later at Indianapolis in November, if they'd stopped Brett Favre on a third-and-15 overtime pass play in November ... any of those things go the other way, and the Pats go 12-4, are the third seed in the AFC this morning, and face Baltimore this weekend."

It's a "football formation" you dumb fat ***. And oh...BTW...it's becoming so popular that practically every team in the NFL will be running it to some degree next year. Stuff another twinkie in that fat face of yours.

HaHa, I love it. All of these so called "analysts" are sad because we put the smack down on them fairies.

Don't tell this team about mistakes that cost us a game here or a game there. We made them too...all of the NFL did. Good teams find a way to win. We found a way 11 times including crucial games within the conference. That is why we are in the playoffs. I love that the media doesn't think we belong. I hope the Raven think the same way.

And about the wildcat...
as other people on this board have pointed out, it is no different than the Patsies going on a spread offense all of the time last year. You see that kinda crap in high school all the time. However, when you look at the personell that they had, you can't blame them for using a formation that maximizes the strength of their offense. That is exactly what the wildcat does for us. Nobody in the NFL runs it as well as us because we have the perfect personnell for the job. That's not cheap, that's good coaching.

All if's and but's.

You think a high paid analyst like King would come up with a better argument.

Missing the point

I believe you're missing the point. What he's trying to say is that the Pats can't rely on those excuses and that they should have been better if they wanted to get into the playoffs. He's not speaking in his voice, but in that of someone making excuses. In terms of "high school formation", I'm sure he just left the word "football" out of there.

I for one respect Peter King. He writes a great column and is thoughtful and intelligent (although he can't pick a game to save his life).

P.S. Fins win by 3 on Sunday! :)

Within that perspective I can say the following:

We would be 13-3 if we had not allowed that Farve Td in our first game and same for the Houston game.

"If If If"

It's like the old saying: "If the rabbi's wife had balls, she'd be the rabbi," ..or IF Peter King had objectivity, he'd be a legitimate, respected sports writer!

I think that was the point... that the Patriots have no one to blame but themselves. They had ample opportunity to get it done and they didn't... and perhaps he wan't insulting the wildcat formation. Perhaps he was insulting the Patriot players that were caught off guard by a formation that most should have see at some point in there highschool or college football careers.

Don't think too much into it. Peter King is a pretty big Dolphins homer. He says positive things about them more often than negative.

I was listening to Sirius radio this morning, and between Randy Cross and Peter King I wanted to drive my truck off the road and into a brick wall. In the span of 15 minutes they managed to completely write off the Phins chances this week, totally discount any chance of Tony winning COY, and pronounce that the Tuna would be leaving to run the Jets. Then I looked down at the Dolphin watch I got for Christmas and realized that I shouldn't be giving these talking heads the time of day. My team will do what it's done all year and prove these haters wrong. Pay attention to what these fools are saying, remember how Peter King, Chris Berman, Deion Sanders, Trent Dildofer et. al. scoff at the Wildcat, weak schedule, 1-15 ,blah blah blah . And when we just keep doing what we do, and they keep saying what they say, just point at the t.v. when they are on and laugh like a mental patient.

Yeah. Peter King is actually one of the guys in the media who says some good stuff about us. Honestly, I think that he was taking a shot at both of us with "high school formation" (saying the Pats got destroyed by it) so I wouldn't look into it any further.

People have been writing off the Fins all season.

At the start it was we will win 4 games, finish last in the division, we wont beat the Pats or Chagers or Jets or Bills or Broncos, the Pats or Jets will win the division, we wont beat the Ravens, etc ,etc.

I find it funny how so many "experts" can be wrong so many times in the course of one season .
